(It was almost impossible for me to come right out & say what was on my mind. Looking at this I would say I was very angry about something?)

(I went with 3 friends after work to Lake Lanier to go sailing. We had so much fun and when we returned to Atlanta, we went to a sleezy hotel bar & drank - lots. I did not make it to work the next day! It was the best, I remember it clearly to this day. I've always wanted a sail boat since then.)

As discussed in the first entry of my BLOG, I started painting by copying posters and paintings of others. For the next few weeks, I drew by memory, my favorites.
My memory inspired by Mary Ellen's painting.

(In the group room, drawings of other group members were often pinned to a bulletin board. When something special caught my eye, I would sometimes attempt to copy it. I suspect I gave it the name, but no longer remember for sure.)

This man has a face
(and more!)
(struggling with my need to have a man - I had met a young man. We were together about 3 months. In most of my pictures, the man had no face or features.)
Fire Breathing Mouths
on far left: Elaine, my counselor
next: Ann, the other group counselor
7 small on right: group members
Apparently this had been a rough group session. I no longer remember the events that lead up to the picture.

our friend, Brinda Baxley

my daughter, Mary Ellen
and I'm still here.
(struggling with the need, want or desire to have a man in my life)
(both had grape abhors)
(Just before the 1st day of 1st grade, my daughter fell off her bike and had to start school with a large scuffed cheek. She was worried but of course, everything worked out just fine.)
